These are three of my sketchbook pages for the December 18th sketchbook check.
This is my Photography Tutorial, (In order) I made the double exposure picture, the emphasis picture, the sepia picture, and the black and white picture using photoshop. I got the silhouette from here, and the boat and hands from here. For the project we used the rule of thirds which is when you have a grid with nine squares, and you put the main object somewhere in the center square. A double exposure photo is when you take two pictures, and you place one on top of the other with a lower opacity. Empasis is when you make a picture black and white, then add color to one object s that it stands out. Sepia and black and white are a way to make photos timeless. Silhouettes have an object facing a light source and take a pictur of them so that it adds darkness. Boat and hand pictures are when you take a picture of something up close doing something, and something in the distance doing something so that it appears that they are corresponding.
This is my book worm literal meaning. It had to include dragon features, so that is why it doesn't look like a pink, dirt covered, featurless creature. I gave it the impression that the dragon is a drawing that has come alive and flying.
